This Upper West Side apartment was designed for a family of avid travelers seeking a sophisticated yet family-friendly retreat. With two young children, durability was a key consideration without sacrificing elegance. Standout pieces include a fluted pedestal dining table and a playful high-gloss lacquered custom console. Vibrant colors and organic materials flow throughout: a rich red Bokhara rug anchors the primary bedroom, woven wood shades add warmth and the children's playroom bursts with blue and purple. Their bedroom, adorned with whimsical animal-inspired details, completes this inviting, layered retreat. Balancing function with understated elegance, this home is both practical and beautifully tailored for a place to land in the heart of the city.
