The Sister Suite

K.A. Murphy Interiors designed The Sister Suite, a shared bedroom in a Manhasset home created for two young sisters. The space features custom twin bed alcoves nestled into softly arched nooks, each with built-in bookshelves, desks, and personalized wallpaper: sky blue for one, mint green for the other. A whimsical powder room with safari-themed wallpaper and soft mint tiles brings playfulness to the suite. Designed for daily use, the room balances individuality and connection, offering a cozy, functional retreat the girls can grow into—and remember.
