After years in fast-paced finance, this client sought a home workspace that balanced productivity and relaxation. The K.A. Murphy team transformed an underutilized library into a bespoke study reminiscent of Manhattan’s most exclusive members-only clubs. A black-and-white palette is elevated by layered textures, including a graphic hand-crafted cowhide rug, a plush velvet sofa and husk wallpaper lining the bookcases. The wood-paneled room reinterprets the tradition of private social clubs, bringing timeless sophistication to the client’s everyday life.
